The Limneo standard

Open marketplaces let anyone list and anyone look. Limneo doesn't. Every seller, buyer, and listing passes a review before it reaches anyone else — this page explains what that review covers.

Sellers

How listings are reviewed

01

Invitation or application

Practice owners join by application or invitation. There is no open sign-up.

02

Every listing reviewed by hand

Our team reviews each listing before it goes live and can request changes or decline it.

03

Blind before anything else

Listings are checked for practice names, street addresses, phone numbers, and websites before they're published.

Buyers

How buyers are verified

01

Approved before they browse

Buyers apply for access and are approved by our team. Accounts use two-step sign-in.

02

A readiness picture for sellers

Sellers see each buyer's readiness — profile completeness, financing, and proof of funds — before deciding on a request.

03

Seller approval, then an NDA

No buyer sees full details until the seller approves them and they sign the confidentiality agreement.

The badge

What “Financials reviewed by Limneo” means

When a listing carries this mark, our team has compared the headline figures — asking price, revenue, cash flow, and EBITDA — with the financial records the seller provided.

It is a review, not an audit or a guarantee. Buyers should still complete their own diligence with qualified accountants and attorneys. Listings without the mark show figures exactly as the seller provided them.
