Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026. This policy describes how Limneo handles your information. It is a working draft prepared for launch and should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before publication.

1. Who we are

Limneo (“Limneo,” “we,” “us”) operates a private online marketplace that connects owners of psychiatry and psychedelic medicine practices with qualified buyers. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Limneo is a marketplace platform. We do not act as a business broker, and we do not provide medical, legal, tax, or financial advice.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash), and two-factor authentication settings.

Profile information: for buyers, details such as buyer type, organization name, licenses held, target modalities and states, deal size range, financing status, and proof-of-funds documents you upload. For sellers, the practice and listing information you enter in the listing wizard.

Transaction and activity information: access requests, NDA signatures (including typed name, date, time, and IP address), data room views and downloads, messages, watchlist and deal tracker activity, and billing history.

Technical information: log data, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, used for security and to operate the service.

3. What we never collect

Limneo never collects patient health information. Sellers are prohibited from uploading patient names, patient lists, medical records, or any protected health information, and our systems and review processes are designed to keep such information off the platform.

Listings are blind by default. We do not publish practice names, street addresses, phone numbers, or websites in public listing materials.

4. How we use information

To operate the marketplace: creating accounts, publishing blind listings, matching buyers with opportunities, processing access requests and NDAs, hosting data rooms, and enabling messaging between approved parties.

To process payments and maintain billing records through our payment processor.

To send alerts you have opted into, such as new listings matching your buy box or new activity on your listing. You can change these preferences at any time in Settings.

To protect the platform: enforcing confidentiality rules, auditing access to sensitive documents, and preventing fraud or misuse.

5. How information is shared

Between parties, only with permission: a buyer's profile and verification status are shown to a seller only when the buyer requests access. A listing's full details and data room are shown to a buyer only after the seller approves the request and the buyer signs an NDA.

With service providers who help us operate the platform, such as cloud hosting, payment processing, email delivery, and mapping services. These providers may only use your information to provide their services to us.

With licensed partner brokers where a transaction requires one under state rules.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the platform.

6. Data security

We use encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls on every database table, two-factor authentication for all accounts, and short-lived signed links for private documents. Data room files are never served from public links.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

7. Data retention

We keep account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed afterward for legal, tax, and audit purposes. NDA signatures and access logs are retained as part of the platform's confidentiality record.

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us. Some records may be retained where the law requires or where they form part of another party's transaction record.

8. Your rights and choices

You can view and edit your profile, alert preferences, and account settings at any time from your dashboard.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to certain uses. Contact us to exercise these rights.

You can opt out of non-essential emails using the unsubscribe link in any message or your alert preferences in Settings.

9. Children

Limneo is intended for licensed professionals and business entities. The service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email or a notice in the service, and the “last updated” date below will be revised.

Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@limneo.com.
