Trust
Confidentiality & compliance
Confidentiality is the foundation of Limneo. This page summarizes the rules and safeguards that apply to every listing, buyer, and document on the platform.
Our commitments
What we enforce on every transaction
01
Blind listings by default
Public listings never include a practice name, street address, phone number, or website. Map pins sit at the center of the metro area, never at an exact location.
02
No patient health information
Patient names, patient lists, and medical records are prohibited everywhere on the platform. Sellers must de-identify every document before upload, and violations lead to removal and suspension.
03
Seller-approved access
A buyer sees full details only after the seller individually approves their request and the buyer signs a non-disclosure agreement. Sellers can revoke access at any time.
04
Signed NDAs on record
Every NDA is signed by typed name and recorded with the date, time, and IP address, creating a durable confidentiality record for each listing.
05
Private, audited data rooms
Documents live in private storage with short-lived signed links — never public URLs. Downloads are off by default, viewed pages carry the viewer's name and date as a watermark, and every view and download is logged for the seller.
06
Two-factor authentication
Every account is protected by email verification and two-factor authentication. Sensitive areas of the platform require a fresh two-factor check.
Marketplace role
What Limneo is — and is not
Limneo is a marketplace platform, not a business broker. We do not represent either party, negotiate terms, or provide medical, legal, tax, or investment advice. Where state law requires a licensed intermediary, transactions are handled with licensed partner brokers in that state.
Listing information is provided by sellers and, even where marked verified, is not guaranteed by Limneo. Buyers should always perform their own due diligence with qualified professional advisors.
